2026 Financial Times Global Masters in Finance Ranking Released! 70 Institutions Proudly Listed!
Recently, the UK-based Financial Times (FT) released its 2026 Global Masters in Finance ranking.

The Financial Times first launched its dedicated Masters in Finance ranking in 2011. It is now one of the most authoritative and influential ranking systems in global finance education.
Ranking Methodology
Programmes included in the FT ranking must simultaneously meet the following three criteria:
The programme must be full-time and cohort-based;
It must have at least 30 alumni who completed the programme three years ago;
Participating schools must hold AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) or EQUIS (EFMD Quality Improvement System) accreditation.
The ranking framework comprises 19 performance indicators, of which four carry the highest weights, directly reflecting graduates' core career outcomes:
Average salary of alumni three years after graduation (16%) – a direct reflection of graduates' baseline income;
Salary increase (10%) – measures the long-term income growth potential of graduates;
Career progression (6%) – indicates the upward mobility of graduates in the workplace;
Value for money (6%) – comprehensively assesses the return on investment in terms of tuition versus career rewards.
Ranking data comes from two sources: alumni survey feedback accounts for 56% of the total score, while school-submitted data makes up the remaining 44%, balancing real student experience with long-term career development outcomes.
