This year, the Best Global Universities rankings cover a total of 2,250 institutions from more than 100 countries and regions. The evaluation methodology is centered on academic performance, with indicators including global and regional research reputation (12.5% each), publications (10%), books (2.5%), conferences (2.5%), normalized citation impact (10%), total citations (7.5%), highly cited publications (12.5% / 10%), and international collaboration (5%), among others.
